an Axle Contemporary project in Heart of the City at 516 ARTS  516 Central Ave, SW,ABQ

During our recent week on the streets of downtown Albuquerque, we took more than 600 photographic portraits.  One copy was given to the subject, one was pasted to the side of our mobile studio/gallery, and one is now hanging at 516 ARTS for the Heart of the City Exhibition.  You can also see our blended image of everyone together, at 516 or on one of the many posters around Albuquerque.

We've also published a beautiful book with all the portraits, all of the writings about "e pluribus unum", and a bunch of shots of the studio on the streets of Albuquerque.  The cover is our blended image, incorporating all of the portraits as one face.  The book will be available at the opening, or can be purchased online here.
