From November 2021 through February 2022, our group collected responses to our online survey. Now, those responses have been collected and processed by the inquiring and incisive minds behind Burning Books and Theater Grottesco.

An BROADSIDES exhibition on the exterior of the Axle Mobile Artspace designed by Burning Books presents the information and reflections. This information is also collected in a book available at Axle or online here.

Theater Grottesco will "perform" the results with their troupe and their Greek Chorus as part of the June Currents festival, at Reunity Farms, and at the Outpost in Albuquerque as part of 516 ARTS' current program.

An absurdist vision of social media's iconic information gathering tool. Filled out by people from all over the world, Theater Grottesco's postmodern Greek chorus will perform the questions and answers in a biting physical performance.

by Burning Books, Theater Grottesco, and Axle Contemporary

Santa Fe For Art’s Sake treats the “survey” as a new form for generating experimental theater and visual art. Bouncing between the absurd and the suddenly profound, questions and answers address topics relevant to the arts and culture of Santa Fe, New Mexico, while engaging nationally and internationally with generous respondents.

This book is a distillation of the “greatest hits” from the (unedited) survey responses, as well as some pertinent background information with, hopefully, a few entertaining facets of today’s inscrutable world.
