Call for Proposals for The Axle Contemporary Mobile Gallery for CURRENTS 2023
Our retrofitted 1970 Aluminum stepvan has an interior exhibition space of 6 feet x 10 feet.

We seek submissions/proposals for works of New Media Art for Axle during CURRENTS 2023, in June, 2023

New Mexico artists only

Deadline for Proposals: February 1, 2023

Artist selection will be announced March 1, 2023

Works can use the interior and/or exterior of the space, as well as surrounding public space.

Works can include projection, performance, installation, and more, as long as it utilizes New Media.

Audiences can enter the space, observe from the exterior, or both.

Depending on proposal, work can be presented for the Opening Weekend or as much as Friday-Sunday during all weekends of the Currents festival.
Artist will be provided with a $150 honorarium.
